Creating Wire & Bead Jewelry | Ivanka Lempitskiy

During this class, students will learn how to make beautiful, wearable jewelry using wire and beads. The basic technique of working with wire and beads will be introduced to the participants. At the end of each class students will take home one finished jewelry item. For each class there will be a new different project, starting with a simple one such as a link or an earring. For the next following class the project will be a little bit more advanced. Projects will include a bracelet, necklace, ring, and a brooch.

This beginner level class is offered

Sundays May 9 & 23, and June 6 & 20

Fee: $35 per class, due on the day of class. Instructor will provide all materials and tools needed for the class.

Teacher Bio:

Ivanka Lempitskiy was born and raised in Ukraine. She worked as a high school teacher of Math and Physics, enjoyed teaching a lot but was always fascinated with arts and crafts. After moving to the USA, she started to take her Art more seriously. Ivanka likes to paint, make jewelry, and paint in the Ukrainian style with beeswax and dyes. In 2013 she received the Amos Shinkle Award for her necklace at Duveneck Art Show, in Covington, KY. She is an active member of WACC of Cincinnati and Brush and Palette Painters of Cincinnati. She has a studio at the POP Revolution Gallery Art Studios in Mason, OH.
