Tuesdays 1 - 4pm in the classroom. Starts Jan. 4.

This class is oils only, for mid level and advanced students. 

This will be an ongoing weekly class 

Basically you will be developing an arsenal of visual tools and techniques to become an artist instead of a painter. 

Instruction covers concepts, [or intent], design and use of abstract shapes, use of a prismatic palette, as well as other palettes, style and painting techniques. 

A still life may be set up or we may have a model in order to achieve these goals, but students can work from their own photos, or objects. Students will be expected to develop thumbnail concepts before proceeding to any studio painting.

The first class will be a lecture and demonstration.

Students are expected to bring their own equipment and supplies.

Class time; Tuesdays from 1pm - 4pm, starting January 4.
