This 10 week class introduces students to the elements of art and good practices of picture making. 

During this class we will focus on the fundamentals of drawing and painting with an emphasis on line, form and color to help you achieve your own personal style.  The class is a combination of discussion, demonstration and independent painting in the classroom designed to help you learn through art appreciation and help you explore your personal creativity. Please bring an 11 x 14 sketch book and pencil to the first class.  An additional painting materials list will be provided at the first class.

Class runs Sept. 7 - Nov. 9 on Tuesdays, 9:30am - noon.
