All are welcome to attend the grand opening reception of Karen Rolfes' Fall Show on Sunday, November 12th from 1:00-4:00pm. Until November 21st, Karen's work can be seen by appointment or Tuesday-Fridays from 10:00am-2:00pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00-4:00pm. 20% of all purchases will go towards The Barn.

Karen Alf Rolfes is a native Cincinnati artist. She paints colorful, impressionistic Oil Paintings of landscape, floral and water scenes in a variety of sizes. Her style began to unfold 16 years ago with her admiration of Claude Monet, and since she has developed her own unique style using a palette knife and color to create paintings that exude happiness. Karen has won numerous awards including: 2013 National Finalist, 2014 Landscape Artist of the Year, 2015 William W. Duebber Award, 2016 YMCA Award Winner and numerous Purchase Awards. Karen has shown her work in Miami, New York and Santa Fe, and she has been featured in Venue Magazine, Blink Art Resource and The Scout Guide.

Karen has her own gallery and studio in Madeira, Cincinnati and a seasonal summer gallery in Harbor Springs, Michigan. She is represented in galleries in Naples, Florida; Greenwich, Connecticut; New York; Rhode Island and Chicago. Karen notes, “I am looking forward for the opportunity to exhibit at The Woman’s Art Club Culture Center and give back to such a special place we are so fortunate to have in our community.” From November 9th-21st, 20% of the proceeds from Karen's local gallery will also benefit The Barn.
