With Christmas is  coming-you can make beautiful holiday gifts and learn a one-of-a-kind type of painting. We will start off painting on china and if there is interest later we will do glass, enamel and lustre. Teacher will provide idea book on what to paint. This class is offered Sept. 10 - Oct. 22 (Mondays) from 6 to 9pm.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

China Painting colors: Colors last a long time.  Why not share supplies with a friend?  You can buy your supplies via catalog-Maryland China Company by calling or you can visit their website (http://www.marylandchina.com/)

2 flat sable brushes (palette and watercolor sable brushes can be used)

Olive oil and paint thinner.

Palette knives if you already have them.

Something to paint on: Tiles from Home Depot can be used. You can also use heavy duty glass pieces you might find at estate sales or antique stores, such as glass shades and lamps. (Glass needs a special firing which would be an additional charge of $5.) Broken colored glass can be fired on a ceramic tile.

Fee: $15 for instruction and firing per lesson. To register, contact Bonnie at rettig@fuse.net.
