Join us at The Barn as we explore the ancient art of Shibori! Shibori is a Japanese dyeing technique that typically involves folding, twisting or bunching cloth and binding it, then dyeing it in indigo.

During this one-night class you will learn process and technique; we will supply everything to create a piece that's unique and fits your personal style. During this session we'll be creating a gauzy summer scarf (approximate dimensions: 18"x 60" 100% cotton, perfect for spring through fall!) or a square pillow cover, your choice.

This class includes all materials & professional instruction. Easily grasped for ages 16+, ages 10 - 15 can enjoy this session with active parent / helper involvement.

Cost is $37 each, and that includes all materials & some light refreshments. We will have aprons available, but smocks or old clothes are always welcome!
