FREE drawing class after school at The Barn Thursdays from 3:30 – 5pm for grades 1 - 4

January 10 – May 23

If you’re that kid that loves to doodle, create cartoon characters, draw portraits of your friends, and sketch the things you see….this free class is for you! Each week will focus on a type of drawing that is found in your favorite illustrated kids’ books. You’ll make drawings large and small, using a variety of drawing materials (all materials are provided). You’ll start with black and white and work your way up to color media such as colored pencil, chalk pastels, and more. You can “drop in” to classes as your schedule allows. Please register first so we know how many artists to expect! This program is made possible by a grant from the Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati.

Mrs. Bailey is a teacher with a degree in Elementary Education, Grades 1-8, from the University of Cincinnati. Her experience includes teaching for Loveland City Schools, Mariemont City Schools, as well as homeschooling Grades K-8, with a passion for the arts!
