Gallery Schedule

The Cincinnati Brush & Palette Painters rolled their equipment into the fresh air again this past year. What a break from pandemic concerns to experience comradery, fun, and the freshness of painting in the moment! We learned to embrace flexibility, often resulting in great rewards, occasionally unwanted surprises, but always new adventures. Still armed with hand sanitizer, sunscreen, and bug repellant, our undaunted group produced numerous paintings, of which 70 will be featured in our upcoming show “Hue, Chroma and Magic” at the Barn, March 5^th through March 27^th.

After the success of last year’s pairing with the Mariemont and Terrace Park Garden Clubs, they again will add their superb floral arrangements, inspired by our paintings to create an “Art in Bloom at The Barn” event, opening March 18^th from 6pm – 9pm, and on view through the 20^th.

From oils to watercolors and pastel paintings, see how members translated this year’s painting venues, as we explored gardens, cityscapes, and farmlands. In addition to plein air landscapes, you’ll see still lifes and creativity-inspired studio paintings.

We look forward to visiting with you during our opening at the Woman’s Art Club Cultural Center (The Barn) on Saturday March 5^th, between 3pm and 6pm. For those who cannot attend the opening, ongoing gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 2pm, and 1pm to 4pm on weekends through Sunday, March 27^th.
