Gallery Schedule

Interested in painting? Plan to visit the Barn on Feb. 27, between 2pm and 4pm, to learn more about painting and try it yourself! We will have Signature level artists from the Woman's Art Club of Cincinnati demonstrating their painting in the Gallery. You can watch their progress and ask questions, seeing for yourself how they "build" a painting, selecting features to leave out and highlighting other areas - in other words, making the artistic choices that depict a subject in ways not possible with photography. Then, join local artist and arts educator Dave Laug in the Lindner Classroom, where we will have easels set up and all the supplies you need to try your hand at painting a canvas to take home with you. This family-friendly event is FREE thanks to funding by ArtsWave. This is an open-house format, so if you have to wait for your turn at the easel, you can enjoy the Signature Show hanging in the Gallery. No registration is required. We will paint together until the materials run out or the clock strikes four, whichever happens first!
