Enjoy a series of Adventures in Creativity with Sharlene Boltz this spring!

These classes are designed for the beginner and intermediate paper crafter, cardmaker, memory keeper and adult coloring enthusiast. Do you look at your collection of paper, adult coloring books, colored pencils, markers or a set of watercolors paints and wonder how to take your creativity to the next level? The first class will cover color theory basics; color mixing; shading and highlighting; and paper selection. Project kits included. Feel free to bring pencils, markers or watercolors from your stash! Join me at The Barn and explore your creativity!

Class Two: Paper Crafting: Mixed Media 101 April 9, 2017; 2:00p.m.-4:00p.m. $20
Gesso, Gel Medium, Pastes…Oh My! What is Mixed Media all about? What is gesso? Is gel medium different from matte medium? And what about all those pastes? These questions and more will be answered when we play with various mediums mixed with mica powder, acrylic paint and pigmented gel sticks to create stunning celestial art and painted papers for cards, book-marks, scrapbooks or art journals.
