Thurs March 21: 6- 9 pm Intro to Free Motion Quilting

Take your quilt to the next level! Learn how to prepare and quilt your beautiful work. This relaxed class is great for those new to FMQ and for those who’ve tried FMQ, but are looking to learn a new stitches or trouble-shoot problems with an experienced quilter. You’ll learn 10 basic free motion quilting designs and ideas for when to use them. We’ll also cover basting tips and techniques and some basic machine trouble-shooting. Time will be focused on practicing your new skills with hands on support.

Class Fee: $30

Optional Sewing Machine Rental Fee: $10

Optional Quilt Sandwich Kit: $10 (you are welcome to bring your own supplies)

Skill Level: Some sewing experience is recommended. If you are very new to sewing, you may not be able to finish the project in class.

You will receive a supplies list after registration. Fusible Webbing (Wonder Under) is included in the cost of the class.
