MILLINERY MADE EASY

In this workshop, you will be guided through the process of creating a pillbox buckram hat frame and then covering it with a fabric of your choice. You will learn basic millinery techniques and they will form the foundation for you to create many other beautiful hats. You will also learn how to add a brim. Best of all, you will have a lovely hat that fits.

Date:               Saturday, July 13 to Sunday, July 14, 2019

Location:        Women's Art Club

                        6980 Cambridge Avenue, Mariemont, OH 45227

Hours:                        9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Misc:               Bring a sack lunch with beverage(s)

                        (Fridge and microwave available)

                        Registration deadlline - July 6, 2016

Kit:                  Provided and payable at workshop ($12.00 - cash or check))

Fabric:            Bring several 1 yard pieces of fabric (cotton is best) and

                        coordinating embellishments

Cost:               $125.00 for both days (check only)

Supplies and tools to bring:

            Tape measure

            Fabri-Tac¹

            Marking pencil/pen

            Straight pins (quilting pins are best)

            Hand sewing needles

            Paper and fabric scissors

            Embroidery or small scissors

            Pin cushion

All other requirements will be provided in the kit.
