Gallery Schedule

Negative Space, a solo exhibition by Meggie Bailey, features a selection of work from the past four years as a BFA student at the University of Cincinnati, DAAP. Bailey’s own artistic development is communicated as she addresses identity, rebirth, and the mystical divisions within the self. The figure, specifically the female figure, is a mainstay in her work, as are aspects of a series of animals that occur repetitively throughout all mediums. The animals she portrays throughout her work are each in a way a self-portrait. This  exhibition is a multi-media exploration including works in charcoal, graphite, ink, oil, among others.
