Tracey Ellis-Haynes: Tracey is a nationally recognized Cincinnati based narrative figure/portrait artist. She primarily explores universal feminine themes, inner worlds and spiritual motifs, using symbolism and color harmonies. “People are fascinating to me, I’m forever intrigued and inspired by the creativity, diversity and inner strength of all of us.”

Alison Shepard-Hildebrant: Through her paintings, Alison is telling visual stories, whether her subject is a face, a flower or a landscape, there is always a sense of poetic realism that speaks to the invisible realm beyond what we see with our eyes. “My interest in exploring a variety of subject matter is similar to a director who explores various genres of film. Each body of work is like a movie, and each painting a frame or a scene to explore narratives that I have found captivating.”

This exhibition is in the Loft from July 31 - August 13, and is open Tuesdays - Fridays from 10am to 2pm, weekends 1 - 4pm.

The public is invited to the Opening Reception on August 1, from 6 - 8pm. Come enjoy light refreshments and meet the artists!
