Gallery Schedule

Students from K-12 in the Mariemont School District are again participating in an International artwork exchange! In conjunction with the Cincinnati Kharkiv Sister City partnership, Mariemont students will have their artwork displayed alongside the work of students from Kharkiv, Ukraine. The local exhibit will take place at the Woman's Art Club CUltural Center (also known as "The Barn"), from September 9 -16. Viewing hours are as follows: 

Weds, Sept 9 Open 1 - 5pm
Thurs, Sept 10 Open 1 - 5pm
Fri, Sept 11 Open 1 - 5pm
Saturday, Sept 12 Open 10am - 4pm*
Barn Closed Mondays
Tues, Sept 15 Open 1 - 5pm
Weds, Sept 16 Open 1 - 5pm

There will be 120 works on display, 60 from each country, This year's theme is "Transportation," and the artwork is exceptional! The MCSD is so excited to be part of this second annual international exhibition and cultural exchange. All of the work will then travel to Kharkiv, Ukraine, where it will be on display later this school year. The artwork from Mariemont will be returned sometime after the Ukrainian show. This special exhibit is possible because of generous sponsorship by the Mariemont Arts Association and our partnerships with The Barn and the CKSCP.

Mariemont's Art Teachers have again been working with Ukrainian art teacher Sergei Grichanok and his colleagues from Kharkiv's Lyceum of the Arts magnet school. Come and see what makes us unique, and also the wonderful things we have in common. All are welcome to view this free Show - a partnership of creativity!
