Many Ways to Support The Barn, Your Community Arts Center

Written by Lynn Long. Posted in Give Today for a Strong Tomorrow

The Woman's Art Club of CIncinnati created the Foundation in order to fund renovations to this historic Barn and run it as a community arts Center, open to all Cincinnatians. We continue to honor our mission by providing art classes, exhibitions, films, an arts-based youth summer camp, and events and programs of all kinds. This has resulted in an estimated 19,000 visits to the Barn each year. What we do brings people together and sparks creative energy, thought, and activity. YOU can support The Barn in Cincinnati in so many ways! Click on any option below:

The Barn Needs a New Coat! Gift a Shingle & Help Restore the Barn

Written by Lynn Long. Posted in Give Today for a Strong Tomorrow

The Barn needs a new Coat...a "new Coat" of shingles, that is!

What can you give to the person who has everything? Or the discriminating individual with a passion for art and history? Or someone who loves to give, more than receive?

The Woman's Art Club of Cincinnati Foundation can help you give the perfect gift. The 100-year old shingles on the exterior walls of The Barn are falling apart and must be replaced...so we're doing a Shingle Fundraiser to help deck the exterior walls with a brand new set of shingles.

Your twenty-five dollar (tax-deductible) donation will buy a single shingle that will be numbered before being installed and painted to adorn and protect The Barn. We will send the lucky recipient a gift card acknowledging your timeless gift to them and The Barn (example birthday card shown below). We will note your shingle number along with your recipient's name, optional message, and optional photo in a time capsule within the new wall.

To join in this historic fundraiser simply CLICK HERE to give a lasting gift. Just $25 will bring a gift of joy this year and for a century to come!

RIGHT NOW the Woman's Art Club of CIncinnati will MATCH YOUR GIFT until their shingle matching fund is depleted!

Have you "herd"? Here's how we are doing so far:

Support the Barn each time you shop at Kroger!

Written by Lynn Long. Posted in Give Today for a Strong Tomorrow

Did you know you can select The Barn to receive donations from Kroger at no cost to you? Kroger donates annually to participating organizations based on your percentage of spending as it relates to the total spending associated with all participating Kroger Community Rewards organizations. This program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations, like the Barn, based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your Card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at Kroger and swipe your Shopper’s Card. This will not impact your gas points.

1. Create a digital account.

A digital account is needed to participate in Kroger Community Rewards. If you already have a digital account, simply link your Shopper’s Card to your account so that all transactions apply toward the organization you choose.

2. Link your Card to an organization.

Selecting the organization that you wish to support is as simple as updating the Kroger Community Rewards selection on your digital account.

1. Sign in to your digital account.

2. Search for your organization here.

3. Enter the name or NPO number of the organization you wish to support. The Barn's NPO number is: 83546, or look for us under "Woman's Art Club of Cincinnati Foundation".

4. Select the appropriate organization from the list and click “Save”.

Your selected organization will also display in the Kroger Community Rewards section of your account. If you need to review or revisit your organization, you can always do so under your Account details.

3. Your organization earns.

Any transactions moving forward using the Shopper’s Card number associated with your digital account will be applied to the program, at no added cost to you. Kroger donates annually to participating organizations based on your percentage of spending as it relates to the total spending associated with all participating Kroger Community Rewards organizations.
